Trust isn’t given.

Questions

Asked all the time. Answered straight.

Less mystery than you would think. California sets a maximum fee per signature. The same cap applies to every notary in the state, so nobody can pad it. The only variable is travel: getting to your home, office, or hospital.

You tell us what needs signing and where you are, and we send a written quote: the full price, signature fees plus travel, in one number. Nothing is scheduled and nothing is charged until you approve that quote.

Completely. A mobile notary holds the exact same commission, authority, and legal standing as a notary behind a desk. Apex Notary & Loan is a commissioned California notary practice, bonded and insured, and every signature is verified, witnessed, and recorded exactly the way state law requires.

Do not take our word for it: every California notary’s commission is public record. Verify any commission at the Secretary of State.

Three things: 1) a valid, unexpired photo ID for every person signing; 2) your document, filled out but not yet signed; 3) any witnesses your document requires. Get those three right and most signings take minutes.

Yes, and that is a core part of the practice. Powers of attorney, advance health care directives, and estate documents are most often needed exactly where the signer cannot travel. We coordinate with facility staff and work around visiting hours. The signer must be coherent and willing at the time of signing.

Yes, and we would rather tell you now. A notary cannot give legal advice or prepare your documents. We cannot notarize if the signer is not present, cannot be identified with valid ID, or if a document was already signed before we arrived. Two things stop a notarization dead: no valid photo ID, and a pre-signed document.

Coming soon. Loan signing certification is in progress now. Send a booking request and mention it, and you will be first to know when they open.
